SA-3 cylinder shape burrs are great for interior contour work and deburring. As a result of extreme hardness of the tungsten carbide, it can be used on a lot more demanding jobs than HSS (High-Speed Steel).
Double cut or Cross cut carbide burrs are generally suited for ferrous and non-ferrous metals, soft steel, as well as for all non-metal materials such as stone, plastics, real wood, and ceramic. Double cut burrs leaves a slightly smoother finish than single cut due to producing smaller chips as they cut away the pad. Use for medium stock removal, deburring, finishing, and cleaning. A double-cut carbide burr is the most popular cut and may view you through most applications.

Safety Tips & Techniques:
Tool speed is decided from the material you’re using your burr on. If you might be experiencing chipping, you’re probably operating at way too high of speed for the application. Start which has a slower speed and increase in the process unless you get the the best results
Apply light pressure and allow the tool do the work. Bearing recorded on the tool can lead to reduced tool life plus a dull burr.
Always wear proper PPE to feature (however, not restricted to) safety glasses, hearing protection, respirator, and safety gloves. Keep all guards in position on the machine.
Avoid experience electrical power drills; the slower speeds may lead to chipping of your respective workpiece.
