It is first important to know that Central Asia has a more relaxed approach towards Islam than its neighboring countries of Pakistan and Afghanistan. It is an Muslim zone, therefore it is essential to be careful when visiting certain regions. T-shirts and shorts that are long can be worn by both genders in the cities, but when visiting mosques that are active, people should wear trousers that do not go below the knee and tops that cover their shoulders. Ladies should also wear an asymmetrical head scarf. This tour takes us to remote areas that aren’t typically visited by tourists. Local people are modest in dress and it is expected that you’ll feel at ease wearing conservative clothes.
Language and Religion
