It was built between 1698 and 1702 by Constantin Brancoveanu, who owned it for 119 years before it became the property of the Bibescu family. The palace features a very complex history, dealing with a lot of turmoil and culminating with almost total devastation in the war. More details on that in the trip.
Our journey continues together with the Snagov monastery, built by using an island during the Snagov lake. The monastery exists since the beginning in the 15th century, during the ruling of Mircea the Elder, but continues to be rebuilt by Mircea the Shepherd, in addition to Vlad Tepes. Inside your body will discover the tomb of Vlad Tepes (Dracula’s tomb).
