The guidelines of play are quite obvious. Beginning four elements: air, earth, fire, and water, which appear as icons on the screen. By adding any two elements together, you will get another “element,” that might or will not be combinable in turn. Elements are added by dragging one over another, at which point either nothing happens (simply because they don’t make something new), or perhaps a new icon appears of their place. You can include an element to itself; air + air = pressure, as an example. You can find 560 things you can make, plus one bonus item (that i found about halfway through.) You’ll end up dropping and dragging when you possess a matter of minutes to spare, seeking to create another element.
The screen shows the weather you’ve already made on the right; the left side of the screen is good for combining elements. A counter at the bottom lets you know how many elements you’ve made from the possible 560. (The screenshot was apparently taken throughout an earlier iteration from the game, when only 500 elements could be created.) You are able to set the library to demonstrate either all of the elements you’ve created, or just the ones that can sometimes be combined; “final elements” would be the end of the road and can’t be utilized to create other components. You can also opt to have final elements underlined, to help you differentiate between them. “Flood” inside the screenshot can be a final element.
