Traits of an Entrepreneur

So, who exactly is definitely an entrepreneur, which are the qualities of an entrepreneur?… well Wikipedia says, “An entrepreneur is really a one who has possession of a whole new enterprise, venture or idea and assumes significant accountability for the inherent risks and also the outcome”… umm… okay but I choose to say, that an ideal entrepreneur is often a one who guides a manpower so that you can apply a concept(makes no difference if it is his or of somebody else and whether it’s new or old) in order to meet those who need the benefits produced by it, which results in financial outcomes or profits.

Hence the basic characteristics or qualities associated with an entrepreneur would be:
– He or she really should have a concept (again, inspite of who originally looked at it and whether it’s new or old).
– They should have the motivation/urge to pursue or make use of the idea.
– He / she should have usage of manpower or to be able to make manpower open to him (marketing savvy apply here).
– She or he must be an excellent leader.

But, there are additional forms of people too who’ve some or many of the above mentioned qualities; but unfortunately we cannot call them Entrepreneur. An illustration of this type of individual is actually a scientist. Scientists have ideas or, to put it differently, they’re able to actually create ideas. Usually they are excited or motivated about pursuing their ideas no doubt, they are good leaders too and they also, for certain get access to at least minimal manpower (No, most scientists fail in solitude as shown in movies like Robin Williams’ Flubber or Frankenstein, they’ve got a minimum of 2-10 people working under them as junior scientists). But why don’t we call a scientist a business owner also? Is he very to the above definition?… food for thought huh?

And just how in regards to a dictator? She has his own or borrowed ideas, He desires to apply them, he’s got use of man power, can guide them adequately… in fact, they’ll do just about everything he wants. So, does that mean, a dictator is surely an entrepreneur or, a business owner can be a dictator!!
