Which has a strong family belief in Lord Ganesha, this year ace sculptor Nishant Sudhakaran (Founder at Leo Enterprises) has surpassed all imaginative goals to create a six foot Ganesha idol with automobile scraps.
A professional in creating sculptors from metal scrap, each time a client approached Nishant to make one of Lord Ganesha, he couldn’t resist. He believes his newborn baby girl can be an reply to his prayers to Ganpati/ Ganesha, he believed this came just as one possiblity to express his passion for the higher power.

In spite of the short notice, a project that will need a dedication of nearly 60 – 70 days, he completed this magnificent piece inside a month. Tirelessly day time and night regarding his team, he states “Ganpati Bappa removes all obstacles.”
The thick sized, heavy automobile parts must be handpicked so they could easily fit into as being a jigsaw puzzle. The hardest and challenging part was the whole process of hammering and bending the various components to give the desire model of the body. Sourcing flat parts from various vendors added to the task of executing the job in the deadline, which however we were able to accomplish.
A 6 feet tall “The Lord Ganesha” sculpture, it’s made purely from various automobile scrap parts. These parts are nearly 10 to 15 mm thick that had been bent & welded together and meticulously shaped to really make it a complete metal sculpture. This Ganpati Idol has been given from over 850 KGs of automobile car parts like disk brakes, fenders, clutch plates, flat gears, shaft gears, spark plugs, connecting rods, automobile chains, crank shafts only to mention a few. The Mooshak (Mouse/ Undir Mama) can also be created from gears, nuts, bolts and also having a piston block plus a wrought iron tail.
Using the 6 foot Ganpati created from automobile scrap for his client, the next task for Nishant is a ten to eleven foot kinetic wind sculpture.
