There are the classic Who, What, When, Where and Why on this comic thriller.
The cast of characters are settling looking their new situations. They are that nothing much must be happening to upset that world, yet, they may be surprisingly wrong.
This tale of innuendo, gossip, lies, misdirection and intrigue discovers authentically like a comedy of errors and misinformation. The idea is not hard enough and subtle enough to give a good base.
Ma Foster provides housing on her behalf “girls,” Bella, Chloe and Kitty. Currently the three in residence are missing. Ma produces a big deal over it. She even travels to a nearby newspaper if the local police don’t act upon her fears. She does fascinate the out-of-work detective, the newest editor in the local newspaper and as a final point the town itself.
The central character is Henrietta, who had been named following your town under consideration, Henryetta, Oklahoma. Henrietta provides extensive looking for her these days, she’s moved to the big city, OKC, OK and landed a career using the local t.v. station. Even if this doesn’t help your journalistic career, it can get her in the middle of Leisure and events of your day. The opposite main characters are Gigi Carpenter, a feminist reporter turned editor in the local newspaper. Max (Maximo) Morgan a would-be gum shoe private investigator using a penchant for old murder mysteries, especially Dashiel Hammet’s “Fat Man” tales. Then Deano DeBoffo since the “reality” show director trying to shot a pilot for the new show. Finally, Shatner Lapp, like a newsman, publisher, editor and all-round ancient boy, relates to town to aid in his Princeton buddy’s newspaper problems.
Once these people have a go at the gossip laden townsfolk, the misinformation flies. With increased rumors then a facts probably warrant, the three missing girls are more and much more objects of speculation and intrigue while almost no factual details are given. The rumors begin mild since the missing girls are only searched for by Ma and Maximo.
These rumors and gossip finally run up to an important “reporter war” between Shat and Gigi. The misinformation here becomes the avalanche cascading within the news and therefore the townspeople.
