I’m not sure initially when i first heard about acim free audiobook. I recognize which i purchased it in March 2009 since i wrote the date in the cover.
While i attemptedto make out the print, however, I just cannot be aware of it. The appearance of writing was perplexing. The information it contained baffled me. I’d no time before encountered such teachings. I wasn’t ready for it and quickly place it aside.
Eventually, a dear friend suggested we form a study group to function for the Course. I think he was simply as bewildered because of it because i was. But his suggestion was wise. He knew we will do together that which you wasn’t capable of singing alone.
So a number of us met the first time in July 2009. During this meeting, we attemptedto read a few pages in the Text — which forms the Course along with the Workbook for college kids and also the Manual for Teachers. What we read in this first meeting made little sense to all of us. It left us frustrated.
Somehow — i don’t remember how — we chose to turn instead to the Workbook for college kids, using its 365 daily lessons. We’ve got to have already been divinely inspired within this decision, since it worked for us and has continued to function since.
Now, a lot more than a couple of years later, we have been well into the Workbook for the second time. The daily lessons as well as the Text now make sense. I now anticipate doing the teachings every morning once you’ve got my first walk. I look forward to using teachings in the lessons into meditation where I could discuss them my spirit guides. I look forward to the weekly study group meetings where we review and discuss the teachings we labored on individually through the week.
ACIM has totally changed my understanding of the planet, i are becoming specialized in it. The study group meetings normally leave me in a state of bliss, because ACIM is helping me remember all the things I knew when still in spirit but forgot after i drew the veil of forgetfulness over me and incarnated into this physical world.
Here’s one example of how the Course has changed my understanding of the planet: I did before believe that this physical world is real which was made by God, nature, along with other forces external in my experience. I now realize that I have already been tricked by my five senses into believing the world is real. I now realize that it turned out I who made the type of world I see around me causing all of my experiences inside. Things i see “out there” is absolutely merely a projection of what is occurring within my own mind. This physical world is surely an illusion, a hologram where I could play and discover. None of it is real — I managed to get all up!
Thus, We are accountable for the level of world I see around me and all my experiences inside. I’m not really a victim of life’s circumstances all things considered. Most people are not abusing me. God just isn’t punishing me. I see a few things i see, I experience a few things i experience, i feel a few things i feel since i choose to do so within my own mind.
There isn’t any reason for going “out there” to improve what you see on earth. You can not control, manipulate, or fix it. This could be like seeing a movie theatre and stomping approximately destroy the screen as you can’t stand the show you’re watching.
The only way to change what you see on screen is to discover the projector in the back of a play and alter the film. The right way to change what you see “out there” on earth would be to change what’s “in here” in your own mind. Make positive changes to beliefs. Stop judging and condemning. Start to practice unconditional love and acceptance. Whenever you accomplish that, the planet the truth is “out there” will start to change. You no longer will be held in unhappiness, pain, and suffering.
ACIM is quite simple and unequivocal relating to this: It is possible to remain asleep within this physical illusion, dreaming that it must be real, so long as you prefer. Or you can awaken spiritually and see which you have been asleep in Heaven all along. Jesus Himself asserted Heaven has arrived, everywhere, but we haven’t managed to see it. Once we awaken from the imagine this physical illusion, we will be capable of experience Heaven the following in the world.
