The Poly Macau Art Auction is being held again until today with the Regency Art Hotel. The categories include Chinese and Asian Contemporary and modern Art, Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, Chinese Ceramics and Artwork along with Jewels and Prestige Collections.
Masterpieces of Chinese modern art maestros will likely be displayed to represent the key developments of Chinese contemporary art history, including Wu Guangzhong’s “Snowscape in Beijing”, which can be estimated for sale at HKD14 million around HKD28 million.
Other items like Chinese ceramics and art pieces, including those from the Ming and Qing Dynasties, bronzes, lacquers, Buddhism figures, and fine stationery will likely be up for auction.
A Cloisonne-Enamel Ram Vessel, Zun, estimated to get worth between HKD3.Two million to HKD4.5 million is also available for sale by interested collectors.

Ho, however, hopes to transform it into an art form hotel. “In Macau, there may be many resplendent big hotels, however the variety of hotels which can be employed for art as well as some creational events is, in fact, not very great,” said Ho.
At the moment, Regency Hotel just isn’t running any casinos, which, in accordance with Ho, generates a different atmosphere in comparison to other hotels. She also thinks that guests keeping this hotel will be more “private.”
