2016 Xmas Rock song recorded in a Phuket recording studio Thailand

A brand new 2016 Christmas rock-POP song has been written, created and then studio recorded in a Phuket recording studio in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ with the key goal of providing attention and exposure for the Phuket charities and Orphanage that Mark supports. You can listen and read more by going to the Tsunami Day site .

The songs name is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the songs style is a unique up-tempo rock n roll track. Mark wrote and partially recorded a demo music guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in 2015 on Phuket and has kept the demo track since then looking forward to the opportunity to record once again. In August 2016 Mark started the recording process and used session musicians to studio record the track durring a 6 week period. The track contains 8 differant tracks and all session players were from the Philippines, including the lead singer ‘Micah Javier’.
Although I’m coming home for Christmas was studio recorded on Phuket island the mixing and mastering was done in the United States due to Mark needed the best result and quality. The song ready to be heard and downloaded by going to the ‘Tsunami Day’ site.
The main purpose of recording I’m coming home for Christmas is to bring as many folks to the Tsunami Day web site as we can and then ideally in-turn they will be good enough to contribute to 1 or all of the Phuket island charities, and to also buy the song.
One other absolute goal is to get enough downloads of the music to fund and set up a Phuket live music club with open stage and recording studio / training room on Phuket, which will offer free lessons and tuition to local underprivileged kids from the area’s colleges and orphanages. To date ‘La QingTing’ isn’t currently open right now but the web site is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you’re wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day web site to promote his music Tsunami Day which was inspired from his own particular experiences while he was working in Patong in 2004 once the Tsunami hit Patong on boxing day. Just like ‘I’m Coming Home For Xmas’the track Tsunami Day also brought awareness to regional Phuket Charities and Orphanages. On the ‘Tsunami Day’ site there’s numerous ways to greatly help including a Phuket island Resort and cheap flights to Thailand booking system. Every penny helps.
Credits: Mark would like to thank his sponsors: Michael Dietvorst (CEO of Oriental Living), Stuart Baker (GM of Food Hygiene Asia), Alan Cooke ( MBE ), Adam Goodman (GM of Two Chefs Restaurants) and Cassius Rolfe-Johnson (CEO of Phuket Home Services).
