2016 Xmas Rock-POP song recorded in a Phuket recording studio Thailand

A fresh 2016 Xmas rock-POP tune has been written, composed and then studio recorded in a Phuket recording studios in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ with the key aim of getting attention and exposure for the Phuket charities and Orphanage that Mark supports. You can listen and read more by going to the Tsunami Day, Phuket website .

The songs title is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the songs style is a special up-tempo rock n roll track. Mark wrote and partially recorded a demo song guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in 2015 on Phuket island and has kept the demo song since then waiting for the possibility to record once again. In late August 2016 Mark began the studio recording process and used local session players to record the tune over a six week period. The songs contains 8 separate tracks and all session players were from the Philippines, including the female lead artist ‘Micah Javier’.
Although I’m coming home for Christmas was recorded on Phuket the mixing and mastering was done in the USA as a result of Mark needed the best result and quality. The music is currently ready to be listened to and downloaded by going to the ‘Tsunami Day’ site.
The main purpose of recording I’m coming home for Xmas is to bring as many visits to the Tsunami Day site as we can and then we hope in-turn they’ll be kind enough to donate to at least one or every one of the Phuket charities, and to also download the song.
One other main goal is to get enough downloads of the track to help fund and create a Phuket live music club with open stage and recording studio / training room on Phuket, that will provide free lessons and tuition to local underprivileged children from the local schools and children’s orphanages. Up to now ‘La QingTing’ isn’t currently open right now but the web site is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you are wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day internet site to market his tune Tsunami Day which was influenced from his own personal experiences while he was living in Patong in 2004 when the Tsunami devistated Patong on boxing day. As with ‘I’m Coming Home For Xmas’the track Tsunami Day also brought awareness to regional Phuket Charities and children’s Orphanages. On the ‘Tsunami Day’ web site there’s numerous methods to simply help including a Phuket island Villa and budget flights to Thailand booking system. Every dime helps.
Credits: Mark would like to credit his sponsors: Michael Dietvorst (CEO of Oriental Living), Stuart Baker (GM of Food Hygiene Asia), Alan Cooke ( MBE ), Adam Goodman (GM of Two Chefs Restaurants) and Cassius Rolfe-Johnson (CEO of Phuket Home Services).
