A new 2016 Christmas rock-POP song has been written, composed and then studio recorded in a Phuket recording studios in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ with the main purpose of getting attention and exposure for the Phuket charity and Orphanage that Mark supports. You can listen and read more by going to the Tsunami Day, Phuket website .

The tunes title is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the tracks style is a distinctive up-tempo rock/rock-pop song. Mark wrote and partially studio recorded a demo music guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in late 2015 on Phuket and has kept the demo guide since then awaiting the opportunity to record once again. In August 2016 Mark started the recording process and used local session musicians to record the song over a six week period. The track contains 8 separate tracks and all session musicians were from the Philippines, including the female lead singer ‘Micah Javier’.
Although I’m coming home for Christmas was recorded on Phuket the mixing and mastering was done in the USA because of Mark needed the best outcome and quality. The music is currently ready to be listened to and downloaded by going to the ‘Tsunami Day’ site.
The main purpose of recording I’m coming home for Christmas is to bring as many visits to the Tsunami Day website as possible and then hopefully in-turn they’ll be kind enough to help to one or every one of the Phuket charities, and to also download the song.
Another definitive goal is to have enough downloads of the song to help fund and create a Phuket live music bar with open stage and studio / training room on Phuket, that’ll offer free classes and tuition to local underprivileged children from the local schools and orphanages. To date ‘La QingTing’ isn’t currently open yet but the internet site is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you’re wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day web site to advertise his track Tsunami Day which was influenced from his own particular experiences while he was residing in Patong in 2004 once the Tsunami hit Patong on boxing day. Just like ‘I’m Coming Home For Christmas’the track Tsunami Day also brought awareness to regional Phuket Charities and . On the ‘Tsunami Day’ site there is numerous ways to simply help including a Phuket Hotel and cheap flight booking to Phuket booking system. Every cent helps.
