The tunes name is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the tracks is a unique up-tempo rock/rock-pop track. Mark wrote and semi recorded a demo song guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in late 2015 on Phuket island and has kept the demo guide since then looking forward to the possibility to record once again. In late August 2016 Mark began the recording process and used session players to studio record the music durring a 6 week period. The songs consists of 8 separate tracks and all session musicians were from the Philippines, including the female lead vocalist ‘Micah Javier’.
Although I’m coming home for Christmas was recorded on Phuket island the mixing and mastering was done in the United States as a result of Mark wanted the very best result and quality. The track is currently ready to be heard and downloaded by going to the ‘Tsunami Day’ Website.
The main goal of recording I’m coming home for Xmas is to bring as many visits to the Tsunami Day website as we are able to and then ideally in-turn they will be good enough to donate to at least one or every one of the Phuket charities, and to also download the track.
One other primary goal is to be able enough downloads of the track to help fund and setup a Phuket live music bar with open stage and recording studio / teaching room on Phuket, that will offer free lessons and tuition to local underprivileged kids from the neighborhood colleges and orphanages. Up to now ‘La QingTing’ isn’t currently open yet but the internet site is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you are wondering).
