2016 Christmas Rock n Roll music recorded in a Phuket recording studio Thailand

A brand new 2016 Christmas rock n roll song has been written, created and then studio recorded in a Phuket recording studio in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ with the key aim of getting awareness and exposure for the Phuket charity and Orphanage that Mark supports. You can listen and read more by going to the Tsunami Day site .

The songs title is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the songs is a unique up-tempo rock/rock-pop song. Mark wrote and semi recorded a demo music guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in 2015 on Phuket and has kept the demo guide since then awaiting the chance to record once again. In late August 2016 Mark started the studio recording process and used session players to studio record the track durring a six week period. The track consists of 8 separate tracks and all session musicians were from the Philippines, including the female lead singer ‘Micah Javier’.
Even though I’m coming home for Christmas was recorded on Phuket the mixing and mastering was made in the United States due to Mark wanted the best outcome and quality. The track is currently ready to be listened to and downloaded by visiting the ‘Tsunami Day’ site.
The key goal of studio recording I’m coming home for Xmas is to bring as many visits to the Tsunami Day web site that we can and then ideally in-turn they will be kind enough to help to 1 or all of the Phuket island charities, and to also buy the song.
The other main goal is to be able enough downloads of the track to help fund and set up a Phuket live music bar with open stage and recording studio / teaching room on Phuket, that’ll present free lessons and tuition to local underprivileged children from the neighborhood schools and children’s orphanages. To date ‘La QingTing’ is not currently open right now but the web site is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you are wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day website to promote his track Tsunami Day that was influenced from his own particular experiences while he was working in Patong in 2004 once the Tsunami hit Patong on boxing day. As with ‘I’m Coming Home For Xmas’the song Tsunami Day also brought awareness to regional Phuket Charities and Orphanages. On the ‘Tsunami Day’ site there’s numerous methods to help including a Phuket island Resort and budget flight booking to Phuket booking system. Every cent helps.
Credits: Mark would like to credit his sponsors: Michael Dietvorst (CEO of Oriental Living), Stuart Baker (GM of Food Hygiene Asia), Alan Cooke ( MBE ), Adam Goodman (GM of Two Chefs Restaurants) and Cassius Rolfe-Johnson (CEO of Phuket Home Services).
